The Association de Science Régionale de Langue Française (ASRDLF) and the Greek Section of the European Regional Science Association invite the submission of abstracts to be considered for the 54th Annual Colloquium which will be held in Athens (5-7 July 2017) jointly with the 15th conference of the European Regional Science Association, Greek section.
The general theme of the conference will focus on challenges and prospects for urban and regional development within a changing European context. It will address issues of inequalities, inclusive and sustainable development through a wide variety of interdisciplinary thematic topics which are relevant to Regional Science theory and policy.
The call for papers for the 2017 Conference will be open from December 21, 2016 to March 1st, 2017.
All abstract submissions must be made electronically on this website by clicking on the following link: 'I submit my abstract'
Abstract proposals must be related to a specific theme (Special Sessions from T1 to T4) or one of the general thematic topics (A to F) of the conference (for more information click on the 'Sessions' tab)
Proposals can be made either in English or in French.
The proposals will be blindly evaluated by two reviewers. Notification of acceptance of the abstract will be sent to the author by 10 April, 2017.
Instructions to authors
Proposals should include the following:
- 1. The exact contact details of the author (s);
- 2. The title of the abstract;
- 3. Reference to one or two relevant themes or sessions;
- 4. Describe the objective of the communication, the originality of the subject, the method, clearly explained and justified results (a summary of approximately 800 words);
- 5. Five keywords;
- 6. An accurate and specific bibliography (maximum 15 references).
Special arrangements for PhD students
A prize will be awarded for the best conference paper presented by one or more PhD candidates. To participate in this competition, the doctoral candidates must indicate in their registration form the title of the paper submitted, the title of their thesis, the name of their University, the year of their doctoral studies, and the name(s) of their Thesis supervisor(s).
Students and young researchers can also apply for a scholarship for their participation in the Conference.
After the notification of acceptance by the Scientific Committee, full papers must be sent by 4 July 2017 at the latest. The final paper submission will be done electronically by the participants.

It is possible to edit/replace your paper even after you have uploaded itvia this interface at any time until the 4th of July.
