Key-words: renewable and non-renewable resources; regional development; growth and inequalities; resources prices
This session welcomes papers that analyze at large the relation between regional development and the natural resources endowments and prices, in the European context. Several questions can be raised within this framework: do regions benefiting of important resources endowments – both renewable and non-renewable - really enjoy a high economic and social development? how does the evolution of resources prices affect the regional and national development? Are resources endowments creating inequalities in terms of regional development within a country or at European level?
